Who it is for
Residents. Emirati citizens. People whose lives are already here and who need a clear answer about what Europe, or a transit desk, will actually ask of their passport. It is not written for tourists shopping a UAE visit visa, and it does not sell appointments, insurance, or “guaranteed” visas.
How we work
- Factual claims are cited to an official page or a named news organisation, with a date.
- If an official page and a news story disagree, we prefer the official page and say so.
- If we cannot verify a fact from a live page, we omit it. We do not invent statistics, quotes, wait times, or launch dates.
- Visa-agency blogs are not treated as primary sources.
- We do not take affiliate fees on these pages.
What we are not
We do not lodge applications. We do not book VFS or consulate slots. We do not tell you that you “will get” a visa. The decision sits with the consulate of the country you apply to, under the EU Visa Code and that country’s own instructions.
Nothing on this site is legal advice, immigration advice, or a substitute for the destination country’s embassy, consulate, or official visa portal.
Disclaimer
Entry rules change. External service providers change. Fees change. Read the official source on the day you apply or travel. LeavingDXB is not responsible for refused visas, missed flights, or decisions taken by border guards. Possession of a visa does not confer an automatic right of entry — that is the Visa Code’s own warning.
